Providence is calling a Speech Pathologist ( Per Diem / Day Shift ) to Providence Tarzana Medical Center in Tarzana, CA.
In this position you will:
Report to the Director of Therapy Services
Be responsible for planning and implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of Speech-Language Pathology.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team in the provision of rehabilitation services.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Current Basic Life Support Certificate for Health Care Providers through American Heart Association
2 years of outpatient experience
Current LA City Fire Card within 90 days of hire
Current CA State License or can have current Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status license by the California Speech Pathology and Audiology Licensing Committee with completion of all requirements for CA state licensure within 2 years of CFY status
Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing.
Ability to effectively evaluate and treat patients with a variety of diagnoses
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Clinical certification in speech pathology by ASHA
Certification in VitalStim and LSVT
