Hillcrest Medical Center, located in Tulsa, OK, seeks to employ a Fellowship trained, BC/BE Critical Care Medicine or Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine Intensivist. To provide clinical expertise to its 37 - bed ICU (soon to expand to an additional 12 beds later in 2012), 6-step down beds, the city's only Burn Unit and Oklahoma Heart Institute's (premier Heart Hospital)CVICU, located on the Hillcrest Medical Center campus.
The selected candidate will join with the current Pulm/CC physicians in Hillcrest's Critical Care program, which currently includes 4 pulmonary/CC physicians - a mix of private practice and hospital employed physicians. In addition to providing critical care expertise on the ICU's, the clinical team maintains a robust inpatient consultation service - attending to patient's with adult lung disease, asthma, COPD, institutional lung diease and pulmonary hypertension. The team also provides a surgical pre-op service for General Surgery, Neurosurgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Cardiovascular Surgery, etc.
The candidate selected for this position will enjoy a seasoned, respected clinical staff, including a superb CNS dedicated to the critical care program. Plus, a high functioning, multi-disciplinary team, patient care model.
