The Sonographer we seek will serve as Preceptor for new staff and rotating sonography students, residents, and fellows.
Perform ultrasound procedures for gestational age determination, fetal growth, placenta, amniotic fluid assays, complete fetal anatomy surveys (including fetal cardiac anatomy (anomalies), assessment of multiple gestations for serial growth, anatomy, guiding amniocentesis procedures, ectopic pregnancies, PIH/gestational diabetes growth asses, biophysical profiles, post and premenopausal GYN scans
Contribute to research studies, product development, process improvement, and special projects
Perform daily QA for Ultrasound imaging and report system errors
Associate’s degree or one to three years of formal training in an AMA approved ultrasound training program
Clinical knowledge that ranges from the uncomplicated to the complex
Meet criteria of Professional Practices, Clinical Practices, Leadership, and Quality Improvement as stated by the Career Ladder Advanced Standard
Three to four years of job-related experience
At least two relevant registrations (including OB sonography)
